In that frame, I had the pleasure to interview Rishi Anand, founder of Linguidoor Language Services.

Linguidoor is one of the fastest growing language service provider based in Berlin with a branch office in Noida. We cater to all language-based services to customers worldwide. We aspire to become your preferred language partner and expand your business globally.

Linguidoor is founded by Rishi Anand, a language enthusiast & a Linguist by profession. Rishi is based in Berlin and is responsible for global expansion and Business Development of Linguidoor.

1) What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e what’s your source of motivation?
Let me tell you, my biological clock is highly disturbed. Since we are operational in different time zones I need to be available 24*7. And frankly speaking the dedication towards my work don’t let me sleep.

2) Why should people choose your product/services?
Our target customer is anyone and everyone who is looking for translation services ie from individuals to corporates. Language plays a major role in targeting and positioning products or services. However, it still remains a barrier when we think of expansion and strengthening business relationships whether nationally or globally.

We offer a wide range of services like Document Translation, Website, App and Software Translation, Business Translation, Legal and Financial Translation, Medical and Technical Translation, Subtitling, Voice Over and many more.

3) What’s your competitive advantage?

4) What risks are you facing?
At present we don’t have any.

5) Have you considered any alliance/partnership?
Yes, we are Language partner for some big as well as budding companies around the globe.

6) What are your cash flow projections? When will you break even? How much will you need in investments?
We have already reached the break even. I registered Linguidoor Language Services in 2017 in Berlin, Germany. And within one year we expanded in India too. We are in the phase of further expansion and plan to mark our presence in the Middle East and the USA for which we are looking for prospective investors.

7) What comes first for you money or emotions?
Well, they both go together. Money is necessary in terms of capital for business and emotions are important for managing human capital. I believe Emotionally intelligent people tend to make more money.

8) What are your strengths and weaknesses?
Strengths: My critics: it helps me to bring the best out of me.
Weakness: Sometimes I am too generous.

9) Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.
I was born and brought up in Patna, Bihar in a middle-class family.
During my school days, I was very notorious and was not at all studious. I did every other thing than studying. However, I came to Delhi for my higher studies. I was always inclined towards different Languages. I followed my interest and completed my Bachelors in German Literature and Translation from Jawaharlal Nehru University. As 20 years old I had big dreams but no funds. Thanks to friends and relatives for their monetary and emotional support I came to Germany. And done Masters in German Literature and Translation from the University of Rostock. After all these experiences, I registered my Company in Berlin and I think it is one of my greatest accomplishment and I am proud of it.

10) How do you handle the pressure?
I handle pressure by not procrastinating tasks. I firmly believe in time management and client relationship management.

11) If you sold your company today, what would be the tone of the conversation? What would you want to gain? What would you want to avoid losing?
SELLING NEVER. I am living my dream.

12) What advice would you give to someone starting out?
