Revolutionizing MedTech: The Bramhansh Impact on India’s Health Industry
Mental disorders are a genuine concern, often requiring more than conventional solutions like meditation or medications. The impact of these disorders extends beyond mental well-being, affecting physical health and potentially leading to conditions such as migraines, insomnia, stress, anxiety and eating disorders. Coping mechanisms like alcohol or drug use may offer temporary relief but come with adverse effects.
Addressing this challenge, the young entrepreneurs and founders of Brahmansh, Jaideep Tiwari and K Kartik from Bhilai, introduced an innovative solution named Migraelief. This wearable treatment marks a groundbreaking development in the tech industry. Unlike traditional drugs that provide immediate but temporary relief, Migraelief aims to alleviate migraine, stress and sleep disorders without causing any side effects.
Migraelief stands out as the first wearable migraine treatment in India, aiming to transform the approach to sleep difficulties, migraine pain, and stress without resorting to pharmaceuticals. Its unique feature lies in its ability to relax the nervous system and induce calmness within just 20 minutes of use. Notably, Migraelief not only addresses frazzled nerves associated with headaches but also aids in promoting restful sleep through patented technology that facilitates an optimal brain state for deep sleep.
The idea for Migraelief emerged from personal experience, as Jaideep’s diagnosis of anxiety disorder prompted him and Kartik to explore the potential of technology for mental health solutions. Their journey began in 2017 with research focused on using sound waves as a method of stimulation to calm the nervous system, leading to the development of Migraelief. The patented technology was officially recognized in 2020.
Brahmansh Technologies Pvt. Ltd., founded by Jaideep Tiwari and K. Kartik in 2018, is not just a company but a center of innovation where ideas are sculpted into healthcare devices. Their mission revolves around offering innovative solutions to address various disorders globally. Their journey gained significant traction following their success in the “Smart India Hardware Hackathon.”Mentored by experts like Deepak Bhopatkar (ISRO retired scientist) and Sudarshan Natu (ex-vice president of HARMAN), the duo received grants from prestigious institutes such as IIT Bombay, IIT Delhi, IIM Calcutta, and government bodies like DST and BIRAC.
Their entrepreneurial journey reached new heights as their company earned a spot among the top 10 startups representing medical device startups of India in France. Migraelief is accessible through Bramhansh’s official website and is also available for trial at healthcare centres in Bengaluru, receiving positive feedback from both users and doctors. The founders, Jaideep and Kartik, are committed to continuous innovation, aiming to introduce more groundbreaking ideas in the tech world. Bramhansh Technologies fulfils its commitment with two innovative products, Soonyam and Hearing Aid, based on patented sound wave technology. The company is also all set toventure into mental health, targeting anxiety, bipolar disorder, and depression with advanced transducer technology. Their devices are not only affordable but also stand out in terms of portability, cost-effectiveness, and efficacy. As they continue to experiment with new ideas, these entrepreneurs are poised to make significant contributions to the ever-evolving tech landscape.
