Interview with YouTuber Anmol Sachar
I hope this can inspire you to become a successful YouTuber too! Why is it important to hear the story of a successful YouTuber?
Having the vision to become a YouTuber is great. Making it happen is another story!
In that frame, I had the pleasure to interview Anmol Sachar, Anmol is a content creator & YouTuber in the comedy genre. Anmol also works alongside various other channels like Ashish Chanchlani & What The Fukrey!
1. How did your digital content creation journey start?
Since a very early age, I wanted to get into either film making or be an entertainer & the digital space gave me the perfect platform to do both these things simultaneously! So I interned at multiple places while I completed my BMM degree. One of the very enriching stints was the one at TVF – The Viral Fever. After completing my graduation, I took up a lot of freelance projects into direction & editing! And then in November 2016, I started my own brand called ‘Mai Comedian Toh Nahi’ where I started posting short comedy videos & memes.
2. Who was your inspiration to join YouTube?
Generally, in life, I’ve always believed that everyone has something to teach you & inspire you! And in content creation as well, it could be someone with just 100 followers or some big creators like Ashish Chanchlani, Bhuvan Bam, TVF, etc where you can find so much inspiration.
So there was no one specific person who inspired me. I’ve always watched a lot of movies and digital content & have found loads of inspiration from all my fellow creators.
3. What was the inspiration that brought you to making comedy videos?
I’ve always enjoyed telling stories. I’ve worked on multiple non-comedy videos as well. But I chose the comedy genre because I personally am a huge fan of this genre & it feels amazing to be able to spread smiles.
4. Is YouTube your only income source or there is something else you do?
Yes, content creation is my only source of income.
5. What are your future plans rather than making vines?
I plan to continue making content. As time passes, I aim to improve as a creator & also expand my audience base.
6. What memorable experiences have you had from ‘maincomediantonahi‘ to ‘Anmol Sachar‘?
There have been way too many to list down anyone. But the entire journey has been an absolute roller coaster ride & I’ve loved every single bit of it. Be it meeting some amazingly talented people, making super amazing friends, having people tell me that my videos have helped them feel better on very tough days, all of this & more is priceless.
7. How much time does it take to make each video(including content making, shooting, editing, etc)?
It takes about 5-7 days to complete a video from start to end!
8. How do you feel having more than 200k subscribers and how much do you aim for?
I always have given my best to all of the content I’ve created even when I was at 200 subscribers. But having said that, of course, it feels amazing but I know that this is just the start and I have a long way to go! I don’t aim for any particular number but aim to keep giving my audience the content they love & continue to learn & better myself every day.
9. Some words for your fans and YouTube family?
This is something I’ve always said. I am able to pursue my passion for content creation only and only because of you guys! And how much ever I thank you all, it wouldn’t suffice. So I’ll just say – “Aap sab ka Pyaar hai, tabhi toh aapka yaar hai”
10. What’s the one question you were expecting most and I haven’t asked you? and please share the answer to that question as well.
I get asked very often if I have plans to get into Bollywood, so I was expecting that maybe!
And the answer would be, surely would love to see me on the big screen someday. But there’s a long way to go yet & I am absolutely loving digital content creation!
