Interview with YouTuber Vishwajeet Pratap Singh

I hope this can inspire you to become a successful YouTuber too! Why is it important to hear the story of a successful YouTuber?

Having the vision to become a YouTuber is great. Making it happen is another story!

In that frame, I had the pleasure to interview Vishwajeet Pratap Singh ‘VP’.

1. Please tell us about your Journey from Mechanical Engineer to a Youtuber?
Mechanical Engineering itself took me to the youtube. Any destiny has a lot of people and actions accumulated with it. I too get those energetic positive bunch of people around me during my engineering days. We started doing a lot of writings, nukkad nataks, skits, theatres and one-day Gangs of Berozgaar happened. Both parts of this parody of Gangs of Wasseypur lead me to be a YouTuber. Those were the days when only small videos of 7 to 10 Minutes were viral as Data charges were too high, but we gave 1st 30 minutes Viral Film of Nation.

2) How TVF and TSP happened to you?
I came here in January 2018 and was searching for some work to sustain here, meanwhile, I met Abhinav Anand fondly known as Bade Sharma. He told me that TSP is looking for a writer for Rabish ki Report and Bade Chhotey, If I can write a decent first draft, then I can join TSP as Writer. I wrote, went to the TSP’s Office and Narration gone superb and then came the viral spoof of Teaser of Sanju named Ganju. Shivankit portrayed the character and Journey started.

3) Who is Your inspiration or who is your Favourite Youtuber or Actor?
Shivankit Singh Parihar, Sumitra Chandra Jagdish and Abhinav Anand, as I always have Best Three.

4) What advice do you want to give to the students/ young generation who want to be Youtuber or Actor?
I want to say that just believe in yourself, work in the proper direction, learn the things and keep working patiently, patience and consistency are must for success. Don’t make great videos but make regular videos, Great will follow.

5) What excites you the most acting, singing or writing?
Singing excites me the most, Writing and Acting follows. I also have a Youtube Channel named Raagamaan where I am going to share some covers and originals very soon. Melody Era will be back very soon.

6) How did you get the idea of making a video on Bihari and Engineers and how does it feel when you got nearly a million views?
The idea was to do stand-up on engineering and Bihar but ended up sitting on a table chair and just blabbering all small things related to this journey that too with some local accent and dialects. People got connected with the lines and they all felt that as their story, a lot of comments were like “arey bhaiya e to aap humara hi Kahani bol diye” and It was really a great feeling to reach out to such a huge number of audience especially when you were not so sure, will it even work or not? So I say, keep making videos, you never know which can go Viral.

7) Please tell us something about your Journey with Bihari No.1 and Viral IPL Talk?
My Journey with Bihari No.1 starts from very 1st day, Bihari NO.1 was Bhakchonhar no.1 at its first place, Then came Chhath Puja’s video and as it became a massive viral, we changed the Name to Bihari No.1 , Then we got a team which works for Bihari no.1 from different cities, while doing their 9 to 9 jobs. They are very passionate, dedicated and hard workers being lead by The Man Bibhu Nandan Singh himself and The Viral IPL Talk was just a funny discussion with a friend in the pure local language of Patna, Gaya, Nalanda, which is called Maghi. I am also surprised by the acceptance of this local dialect as an entertainer one. A large number of people started appreciating our effort for the prestige of this language, but honestly we haven’t started this with an idea or purpose of something like we have to serve our mother tongue and make a series, It just happened as casual talk with Yugal Kishore Bharti as we used to run to Juhu beach in the morning. Nowadays we seldom get chances to go there due to our busy work schedules but very soon, we will start something again in Maghi Language.
