1. What gets you out of bed in the morning i.e what’s your source of motivation?
Taking Geeksters to new heights of success and bringing a positive change in the lives through technology pushes me one step forward every day.
2. Why should people choose your product/services?
At Geeksters, we aim at bridging the gap between daily tasks and technology and that too without causing a hole in pockets. We do this because we understand that technology should be cheaper and reachable to the masses. We do not give our quotations rather we consider customer budget and work according to it.
3. What’s your competitive advantage and why can’t it be copied?
Geeksters offers technology solutions at client’s own customised budgets which makes it different. We are known for giving ample opportunities to students and fresh graduates which give them the confidence boost. Also, Geeksters has been working on a new technology that can definitely bring a positive change in daily lives. The technology is still under research and gives a competitive advantage to Geeksters.
4. What risks are you facing?
The technology industry is full of opportunities but this comes with a stiff competition from other market players. It often becomes difficult to get your business noticed. Also, since we are a startup and still in early traction phase which makes it challenging to keep enough cash surplus and cash inflow at all times.
5. Have you considered any alliance/partnership?
We have not yet considered an alliance. However, we are open to such opportunities if the business requires.
6. What are your cash flow projections? When will you break even? How much will you need in investments?
We are aiming at smooth cash flow by the end of this fiscal year and aim to achieve breakeven around the same time. As far as investments are concerned, we are open to suitable options for our future research and development projects.
7. What comes first for you money or emotions?
Money plays an important part in running business operations smoothly. It cannot be denied that it is one of the driving factors which keeps the team motivated. However, at Geeksters we consider emotions to be much more significant in achieving success. Without emotions, a team cannot bind together and work towards a common goal. Also, customers will not be able to relate to the business if it lacks emotions.
8. What are your strengths and weaknesses?
I would consider the sense of motivation and emotion within the team even when we have stiff competition as our greatest strength. Irregular cash inflow should be our weakness at this point in time. However, as they say- “When you focus on problems, you’ll have more of them.” So, instead, we focus on learning from our challenges and weakness and get better day by day.
9. Tell me about an accomplishment you are most proud of.
Being recognised as an “Innovative Startup” is an accomplishment we are proud of.
10. How do you handle the pressure?
As a team, we try to spend time with each other and understand individual needs. We participate in fun activities on a daily basis which makes the workplace a happier space to be in. This really helps in handling pressure and increases productivity at the same time.
11. If you sold your company today, what would be the tone of the conversation? What would you want to gain? What would you want to avoid losing?
Geeksters has become a part of our daily lives. There is no question of selling it in the near or far future.
12. What advice would you give to someone starting out?
Have patience and believe in yourself.
13. What made you start this company.
Well, the answer to this question is the new breakthrough technology we are working on since. The new technology aims at making coding and programming easier for visually impaired. That would be enough to disclose at this point in time.
Brilliant and motivational brat he is. I know him from the beginning of his carrier where he always appeared sharp and innocent yet focused.
Great to know that is excelling in his carrier like this.
