Interview with YouTuber Aabir Vyas

I hope this can inspire you to become a successful YouTuber too! Why is it important to hear the story of a successful YouTuber?

Having the vision to become a YouTuber is great. Making it happen is another story!

In that frame, I had the pleasure to interview Aabir Vyas, a Raw and Instant comedian.

1. When did you decide to run a youtube channel and move on to vines?
I have always been a guy who loved to perform and act in front of everyone since I was a child, creative ideas and thoughts always captivated my mind. So when I was a school going kid, I found this social media platform called “YouTube” Where people can post videos and showcase their talent to the whole world. So at the age of sixteen I posted my first video, and since making people laugh was what I always excelled in, I decided to make funny videos.

2. Who was your inspiration to join YouTube?
Zaid Ali and Lilly Singh (Superwoman)

3. What was the inspiration that brought you making vines?
Making people laugh always filled me with happiness and contempt and also I believe that spreading laughter attracts a lot of positive energy in a person, so this thought always kept me rolling to make funny videos and spread laughter and joy through them.

4. Is YouTube your only income source or there is something else you do?
I have worked with a few companies previously and used to create content for them but now since my channel is growing, YouTube and Instagram are my only income source.

5. What are your future plans rather than making vines?
I don’t want to stay limited to any single genre, I want to focus on varied content because My future plans always stand at providing the best quality content to my viewers and leave no stone unturned to achieve the maximum level of satisfaction from them.

6. How much time does it take to make each video(including content making, shooting, editing, etc)?
I make videos every day for various social media platforms and it consumes a major part of my day. The time basically depends on the length of the video and the platform. For say, it takes lesser time for making Instagram videos (around 30 mins) as compared to YouTube videos which take more time, sometimes a whole day or even more.

7. How do you feel having more than 100k followers on Instagram and how much do you aim for?
It’s definitely a huge achievement for a 20-year-old having more than a lakh people following him and watching his videos every day but at the same time, it’s a big responsibility too.
I don’t believe in the number game and nor have I set any numbers in my mind, I just strive to make my content reach as many people as I can and inspire them, motivate them and make them laugh all the time. And if I’m able to achieve it, that’ll be more than enough for me.

8. Some words for your fans and YouTube family?
I just want to thank them for believing in me and motivating me every day to make videos and accepting my content. They are not just my fans, they are more like my family now, and just like a family is always there for you, I wish my mine stays forever with me too.

9. How were your initial days? How many views did you get in your first video?
Initial days were tough and I hardly managed to get 100 views on my videos. But my, hard work, consistency and determination paid me off and now my videos are not only viewed by millions but also appreciated worldwide.
