Meet Deepen Barai Who Is Changing Automobile Industry With SPEEDFORCE

Deepen Barai is the founder of “SPEEDFORCE – THAT DELIVERS Franchise of MULTI BRAND TWO WHEELERS WORKSHOPS “.His thorough experience of working in multiple sectors of telecom, networking, insurance & Automobiles industries for 18 years paved a way for him to start a new journey of his own creativity in the Automobile service sector. He is born and brought up in a business family from Jamkhambhalia, Gujarat. Along with his native friend, he gathered an idea of setting up a holistic model in an Automobile two-wheeler Multi Brand service industry. Initially, a chained network of individual workshops was set up by him and his colleague. This aimed to serve the 27000 customers in and around Baroda even at the doorstep. After creating almost around 70 entrepreneurs and more than 250 skilled employees, they decided that this noble initiative must be reflected across the nation as a two-wheeler professional service startup and then SPEEDFORCE was founded. Mr Deepen Barai aims to develop more and more entrepreneurs in our nation for development and opportunities. His successful startup SPEEDFORCE is currently the most emerging startup, ready to go national with a company owned and also franchise network.

1. Give a brief info about your start-up?
“We are into Organisation of Multi-band Two Wheeler Service Workshops across the country. With the increasing numbers of two-wheelers in India and a growth rate of almost around 20% year on year from the last  7 years, this is high earning potential business. With added features like doorstep service, vehicle pickup & drop facility, on road breakdown support, AMC, accidental service, insurance renewal and well train staff with proper tools and equipment support it’s becoming fast popular and more convenient among new generation with a single window service. Low investment and high returns are the key success of this business. Our online and offline support and training boost the confidence of business owner”, Says the Founding Team of Speedforce.

2. As a startup founder, what keeps you awake at night?
What I promised must be delivered.

3. Who are your competitions and how are you better than them?
According to my perspective, there’s no such competition in the market if there is a competition it is only limited to private business and the model that they provide is very costly as compared to our business solutions.

4. Have you raised funding? If yes, then we would like to know the details. If no then please tell us if you are looking to raise.
Currently, we are managing through our own funds. We are expecting a tie-up with MNC or a leading OIL Brand. After this tie-up, we may need funding from outside.




5. What gets you excited about this company?
Great satisfaction of providing a solution to edge old business. It’s a completely new approach to this kind of business. We are creating a business opportunity for the new entrepreneurs and via this generating skilled employment opportunity. We are sure of a successful business for any non-technical person even women can enter this sector through our guidance and continuous training and mentoring.

6. Tell us about your team and how did you meet each other?
Me and Kapil being from the same industry vis. Insurance and both of them belonging to the same town were quite in touch with each other. During our journey of founding  Speedforce we came across new people daily two of them was Mr Ashok Shah & Mr. Mohan Vaidya who was very well experienced in the domain and have been served in a giant automobile company Bajaj we explained to him the concept and made him associate with us to play a very key role in the organization with his 36 years experience and knowledge the foundation of the organization has become very strong with Deepen and Kapil playing a front role for Network & Development and Mr Shah & Mr Vaidya with a back-end strong technical and organization buildup support.

8. Where is your base and how did the place help you to think national?
Our start-up is based in Baroda (Gujarat). After the initial our first workshop was set up in Baroda, Gujarat there was a huge potential for the services that we provide in the automobile market. After the success of our first workshop, we developed the entire chain in an around the city and today we are very successful to develop the same in entire Gujarat, Maharashtra, Madya Pradesh & Rajasthan.

9. What would prefer among bootstrapping or funding?
Currently, we are managing through our own funds. We are expecting angle Investors for funding right now because we are planning to come with company’s own outlets and tie up with MNC for Services at that time IT & infrastructure needs huge funds, so we are looking for investments

10. Tell us about yourself, your previous jobs/ventures? What were you doing before this start-up?
Belonging from a small town I joined telecom industry and then subsequently moved on to the insurance and network industry I have worked with different geographical peripheries of the country and have established and developed a good potential network of various genres. In my professional journey of more than 18 years and starting at a very basic level I reached onto a substantial height of management level.
